Family Planning among minority communities in India

As a member of our nation & belonging to minority community, I feel it’s my duty to express my inner pain for the things which are going wrong here. We all know that there are many schemes run by Our Government for the welfare of minority communities. But still these communities are not in mood to raise their economic condition. Whom should we blame for it? We all are taught about our religion but not about our nation especially in some minority communities, people follow their religion strictly. There is nothing wrong in it. Problems start when these communities give more importance to their religion than their nation. They forget that “if nation is safe we are safe”. Our population is increasing at a fast rate because some community’s saints say that to use contraceptive medium to prevent being pregnant is a sin in their religions. This is only one reason, but there are many reasons like it which I see here as most of people are not literate. If these minority communities do not want to use contraceptive then they should have control on themselves. They must exercise of sobriety. For vote bank, politicians are not in condition to tell anything about this matter. So I want that these minorities’ communities must not ask for reservation or welfare schemes if they take the support of religion. Government should announce that among minorities’ people only those minority people will be benefited from its schemes, who follow family planning. So it will create great awareness among all minorities’ communities and they will follow it strictly if they want to get extra benefits like reservation (these benefits are not given to major communities). Why am I telling like this? Because some minorities’ people are already very poor, even they cannot feed themselves in spite of that if they are giving birth to five or six children even at some places more because allegedly their religions & particularly their saints tell this, then who will feed them? To feed, to nurture their family these people will ask for special facilities. To support their thing, these people will raise issue of being exploited by major communities or capitalist & ask for reservation & money. In my view saints, who give more priority to their religions than their nation, are betraying with their nation as well as their people. These people being illiterate are very innocent so whatever their saints say they believe in it. So now Government should take harsh decision to prevent increasing population & start providing its welfare schemes to only those minority people who follow family planning strictly. Believe me it will make great awareness among people & they will think many times before increasing their families. It’ii bring good result & help government to prevent increasing population by large.
